Mobile phone is not to be considered a secure means of communication. 28.5 Match meeting The match meeting is always held in the referee room, unless another location has been agreed upon. A match meeting is called ONLY if the ice hockey match has been interrupted due to a very serious incident in accordance with this section and not if the ice hockey match has been interrupted for other reasons such as ice problems or other technical issues. The match meeting only addresses the substantive issues, i.e. whether the match can continue from a competition and security perspective. Other issues regarding the event are subordinate. The following functions are granted access to the match meeting (either in person or digitally): • The Swedish Ice Hockey Association’s competition manager • The Swedish Ice Hockey Association’s head of security • The Swedish Ice Hockey Association’s security coordinator • The Swedish Ice Hockey Association’s security delegate • The referees • The organiser’s security function • The visiting team’s security function • Police (if present on site) 28.6 Announcement scripts and detailed guidelines Announcement scripts and the document Procedure for Serious Incidents, including the procedure for match meetings, can be requested from the Swedish Ice Hockey Association at sakerhet@swehockey.se. 29. Banning visitors It is of utmost importance that Swedish Ice Hockey identifies and documents, preferably through video surveillance or other visual material, any individuals who cause disturbances within Swedish Ice Hockey. The club must make every effort to identify and document individuals who cause disturbances within Swedish Ice Hockey. The club is obliged to ban from events any individuals who cause disturbances or display other improper conduct. In the event of any criminal act, an application for measures under the Swedish Act on Restraining Orders for Certain Sporting Events (SFS 2005:321) must be made. Rulings on organiser bans made by a club participating in SIF’s competition and training activities must be extended to cover all matches governed by the Swedish Ice Hockey Association’s competition regulations.
