27 Overhead flags used in the visiting team’s sections must not be of such a size that they obstruct the view for spectators in the organiser’s sections. 21.4 Horns, whistles and wind instruments All types of horns, whistles and wind instruments are prohibited inside the facility. 21.5 Megaphones and drums The use of megaphones and drums is permitted in all facilities, unless otherwise regulated in the match agreement. 21.6 Confetti Confetti is not allowed in the facilities. Confetti refers to small pieces of paper or other material that can pass through the mesh of protective nets. 21.7 Tifo Tifo ceremonies conducted under safe conditions should be encouraged. Tifo ceremonies can be carried out in various ways, both in terms of scale and choice of products, so the safety officer should keep informed about planned tifo ceremonies in order to include them in the preventive security work. For example, there may be a need to adjust the fire preparedness. 21.8 Supporter items in connection with public order disturbances* In cases where supporter items (overhead flags, two-stick flags, banners etc.) are used to conceal/mask individuals committing disturbances or other criminal acts within the facility, a ban on the use of these supporter items may be imposed. The ban may apply to both home and away matches for a certain period or for the remainder of the ice hockey season. The prohibition applies regardless of whether or not the offence was committed in an organised manner and location within the facility. It is the responsibility of the club that has been prohibited from using supporter items in any form to inform the other clubs. 22. Pyrotechnics and laser pointers 22.1 Prohibition It is prohibited to have and/or use all forms of pyrotechnic devices inside the facility. This also applies to the use of pyrotechnics in the vicinity of the facility. It is prohibited to have or use all types of laser pointers on the facility or to bring them into the facility. 22.2 Exemptions Pyrotechnics approved by the police, emergency services or an authorised company used during the match’s presentation are exempted. Laser pointers approved by the organiser, as required and used for professional purposes, are exempt. Examples of such laser pointers can be laser pointers used in connection with lectures or for communication in relation to illness. Exemptions must never be granted for laser pointers that require a permit according to the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority.
