30 b) What type of objects does the organiser wish to throw? (The objects must not be hard.) c) W hen during the match will the organiser perform the activity? (The activity must not take place during play.) d) How will the organiser ensure that all objects will be removed from the ice? e) How will the organiser ensure security while the objects are being thrown? 26.3 Conditions for exemption The conditions for any possible exemption to be granted include that the following requirements are met: a) Visiting teams must be informed, and the organiser’s activity may only take place with their approval. b) The relevant Referee in Chief and referees must be informed about the entire arrangement. c) The broadcasting TV company must be informed about the entire arrangement. d) The police authority of the region where the match will be played must be informed. 27. The media cube 27.1 Basic principle Replays on the media cube or equivalent must not encourage disorder. 27.2 Operator It is the organiser’s responsibility to provide a competent operator for the media cube or equivalent who, with good judgement, will address all aspects in accordance with Section 27.1 of the Security Rulebook. 27.3 Class 3 or 4 matches For class 3 or 4 matches, the public order situation must be given special consideration. 27.4 Safety officer/control room directives The safety officer’s/control room’s directives take precedence over all points in this section. 27.5 Class 4 matches For class 4 matches, a maximum of 1 replay of any given sporting incident may be shown on the media cube or equivalent. In addition, no images of supporters’ sections are to be displayed on the media cube or equivalent. 28.
