4 Introduction The Security Rulebook is the Swedish Ice Hockey Association’s official rulebook covering safety and security issues within Swedish Ice Hockey. This rulebook has been established by the Board of the Swedish Ice Hockey Association and contains complete safety and security regulations for clubs that are members of the Swedish Ice Hockey Association and matches governed by the Swedish Ice Hockey Association’s Competition Regulations. The Security Rulebook is anchored in section 12 of the Competition Regulations and forms the basis of the Security Instructions. The objective of the Security Rulebook is to ensure that players, officials, spectators and staff involved in Swedish Ice Hockey can feel that they are in a safe and secure environment. However, the organiser is always ultimately responsible for safety and security in connection with matches. The definition also includes Idrotts AB, which is affiliated with a club that is a member of the Swedish Ice Hockey Association and acts as the organiser of ice hockey matches governed by the Swedish Ice Hockey Association’s Competition Regulations. Organiser The organiser of an ice hockey match governed by the Swedish Ice Hockey Association’s Competition Regulations. Match This term refers to all ice hockey matches governed by the Swedish Ice Hockey Association’s Competition Regulations. Official Officials include all persons who have access to the match to perform a task in any capacity.
